Emergency Response / Spill Cleanup

Basha Services has performed hundreds of emergency response projects in response to oil or chemical spills, plant fires, mercury spills, landfill fires, and pipeline releases. Basha Services also manages emergencies and spills for several regions nationwide and clients with holdings outside the continental USA (OCONUS).

Site Remediation

Basha has performed remediation of sites contaminated with PCB, dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPLE), petroleum, heavy metals, TCE, and many other pollutants. Our remediation experience includes soil and groundwater contamination.

Environmental Assessment & Investigation

Basha has earned the preferred vendor status for providing Environmental Site Assessments and Investigations from several of our federal customers and government prime contractors. Our environmental investigation experiences not only soils and groundwater but also indoor air quality problems caused by mold, asbestos, lead, and other common indoor air pollutants.

Environmental Consulting & Compliance

Basha's environmental consulting experience includes providing Professional Engineering services, including preparing Remedial Investigation Feasibility Studies (RIFS), submitting annual and quarterly groundwater monitoring reports to state and federal regulators, and remedial design.

Site Restoration

Basha Services was hired to perform the remediation of a polyanionic hydrocarbon (PAH) contaminated site and, in the progress of this work, asked to perform construction services to remedy frequent flooding at the site. Basha has provided site grading and horizontal construction services, including the installation of a storm sewer and surface drainage system, concrete spillways, and interior renovations after performing mold and asbestos abatement.

Facility Management

Basha Services manages one of the most critical facilities for one Federal Agency. This facility houses critical environmental monitoring instruments, communications equipment, satellites, and other critical assets that are used during environmental catastrophes and natural disasters and will be deployed in a real and perceived terroristic event. Our responsibilities include the maintenance, calibration, and repair of these critical instruments and the management of the facility, which also serves as a Continuity-of-Operation (COOP) location for our client.
